Another year has come to a close. And what a year it has been. I cannot recall a time when the politics of our Nation have had so direct an effect upon our financial planning. Regardless, planning goes on and we all move forward into 2013 with the hope that things will be even better than 2012. My boss used to say to me: “things are never so bad that they can’t get worse”. That is not to say that we should be moping around waiting for something bad to happen. What this tells us is that things can always be worse so we should be upbeat because we know things are always better than they could be.

2012 was what I would describe as a pretty good year. Not great but pretty good. Of course, even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good so, having a pretty good year suits us just fine. So I would like to express our thanks and sincere appreciation to our customers for enabling us to not only accomplish 2012 but to come to the end of the year looking forward to an even more exciting 2013. We know that we can accomplish nothing without our customers and we look forward to working with you in the next year. And please remember; in the event that you would like to speak to the president of Cooner, our phone system includes my desk and I will always take your call or call you right back.

Good luck then to all of our customers and suppliers in 2013. I look forward to all of us ending this next year with even more success than the year we are closing out.
