Description

Concentric stranding is a geometric arrangement of the individual strands in a conductor. Strands are helically laid around a uniform center strand, with each layer direction reversed. The advantages of concentric stranding are uniform diameter and the absence of fraying or unraveling of individual strands during stripping operations.

Conductors are fabricated of fine of ultra-fine copper strands providing maximum flexibility in a miniaturized conductor. These constructions may also be fabricated of various other metals on request.

Applications

Useful for many military and commercial applications requiring ultra-flexible, ultra-miniature connections.
