UL Recognized Insulated Power & Ground Cable Cooner Wire Company produces insulated power and ground interconnect cables in both round, stranded configurations and flat braided constructions. Stranded conductors are used in most electronic wire and cable applications to provide superior limpness, flexibility, and long flex life. Rope stranding consists of a central stranded core surrounded by one or more layers of laid groups of stranded cable. These constructions have uniform diameter and are very flexible. Flat, braided conductors are occasionally used in certain applications to which they are better suited than round, stranded cables. Braided strands are very flexible and provide excellent flex life. These cables are fabricated with either bare or plated copper wire and insulated with either PVC or silicone rubber. Many other metals and insulation are available on request. |
